Information Center

Hi everyone and welcome to All my Kingdoms. I posted some sad information on my challenge (royal legacy challenge) over at boolprop as well as tumblr. Long story short, I have cancer and I just cannot continue to play the sims 2 on my desk top.

Sad news out of the way I can still play the sims 4 and I will be remaking my kingdom sims for the sims 4! YAY. One big issue I had playing this challenge with the sims 2 is Kingdom Afar is suppose to be connected but I didn't know I was going to do that until after I had made it a separate neighborhood which meant if I wanted any sims to move there I had to go through the long process of extracting them. It was going to make it very difficult to play it how I wanted. NOW, I have the chance to switch a couple things around and make the story flow a bit better.

Since I am playing this on the sims 4 now and the mods I have for the sims 2 aren't a thing for this I had to make some changes on my sims and how there lives will be played but thankfully I have figured it out and I am very excited to get started.

The last bit of information I want everyone to know is one of the new kingdoms I had plans to unveil is ran by a princess of the Royal legacy challenge and that was obviously going to be a problem as I was ONLY on Generation 1 of  that challenge LOL. Now to the nerdy stuff.

***

This is starting way back in Year 100. So we have 500 years to go before we are current in where we left off in sims 2. NO need to fear though. The times work a bit different here.

Seasons:
Seasons in my game last a very long 14 days. That means there are 56 days in a year. I have the sims life span on long (that I tweeked in MCCC) so they won't be aging anytime soon.

At the beginning of every year (spring) everyone ages up one year.

Events:
I am still rolling for events, between 5-10, depending on how many families we have in the kingdoms at any given time. Of course as the kingdom grows this might be more. As we don't have to worry so much about months and so forth for the sims 4 I can customize this as much as I want.

Pregnancy:
Sims are pregnant for a lonnnng 42 days. That is 3/4 of the year from my calculations so that's why it is that long.

Jobs and Class:
Just like last time every sim has a class they are apart of and the class has limits on job promotions.
Peasants: Lv 3
Working Class: Lv 5
Nobles: Lv 7
Royal: Lv 9 - Unless king then lv 10

There are no rules as to which job your sim can have they just can't ever be higher then there level.

There are 4 kingdoms we follow. Kingdom Afar, Kingdom Come, Kingdom of Nowhere, and Kingdom Mirowan. These kingdoms all do things a bit differently as far as what's acceptable and what's not. Of course 2 of these kingdoms we don't see until year 500 which we have a long way to go till then.

Kingdom Come:
This is Freefolk/Raider land. They have actually been around longer then Kingdom Afar but we only pay them any attention around year 100.
Woohoo: Free
Marriage: Optional
Gender: Equality
Bloodline: Traditional
Heir: Random

Kingdom of Miraowan: After they lost the war they tucked their tails and ran to a new kingdom.
This is the settlers from kingdom afar after they lost the war.
Woohoo: Marriage only
Marriage: A Must [everyone must be married]
Gender: Patriarchy
Bloodline: Strict Traditional
Heir: First born

Kingdom of Nowhere: After the princess was going to be made to marry someone she didn't love and her family couldn't accept that she was gay, with the help of her brother, she ran away and started her own kingdom.
This is the princess from Kingdom afar that was exiled
Woohoo: Free
Marriage: Optional
Gender: Matriarchy
Bloodline: Modern [natural and adopted kids]
Heir: First Born

Kingdom Afar: The first kingdom.
This is the first Kingdom
Woohoo: Marriage only
Marriage: Must
Gender: Patriarchy
Bloodline: Traditional
Heir: First born male

WHERE WILL THE KINGDOMS BE:
The next important thing is where these kingdoms will be in the sims 4. The sims 4 has come a long way with places to live. I don't think I will ever get over the fact that I can't place as many lots as I want or need and I can't have as many subhoods as I want but there are ALOT of worlds to work with.
Miraowan: Desert - Osasis Springs/Strangerville/Forgotten Hollow/Del sol valley
Nowhere: Sulani/Glimmerbrook/Britechester
Afar: Willow Creek
Come: Newcrest/San Myshyno/Winderburg/Brindleton Bay

For me supernaturals are a must in any save or story I am telling but sims 4 is really lacking in that department. Nonetheless it has the basics of supernaturals I need and even a bonus of ghost which are playable. With that being said I have some rules for supernaturals and how there world works.

SUPERNATURALS:
Witches: In game so nothing to be done
Vampire: in game so nothing to be done
Ghost: in game so nothing to be done
Plantsims: Slant their eyes
Mermaids: In game nothing to be done

Witches: Only ever female - must have a cat - can be made or born
Vampire - Free to anybody - can be made or born
Ghost - A curse you get - can be anyone - can only be made
Plantsims - Free to anybody - can be made or born - Females must have one pure plantsim
Mermaids - Can be made or born - Free to anybody - Must live near water

With all the nerdy stuff out of the way and a basic understanding of what I have going on for my game let's jump into Kingdom Afar - Year 100.
